We provide full intimacy coordination for film and television. Our work begins in pre-production and involves thorough consultation with all relevant departments, continues through to providing on-set support, and can extend all the way to post production. This includes ensuring clear and ongoing communication of performers’ consent and boundaries, choreographing intimate scenes, and coordinating scenes that involve nudity. When nudity and simulated sex acts are required, we ensure that performers are supported and protected with the appropriate modesty garments and barriers. Productions sometimes have us present in the casting process when actors must appear nude, or when crafting character breakdowns for projects involving nudity or simulated sex.

We adhere to ACTRA's best practices for scenes involving nudity, intimacy and simulated sex, and advocate for these practices being adopted industry-wide. Click here to read ACTRA's document.

We offer workshops for actors, directors, and production teams on how to approach intimate scenes with confidence and respect. We cover everything from setting clear boundaries to ensuring ongoing consent and making sure nudity or intimate moments are handled thoughtfully and appropriately. We can also discuss the basics of simulated sex choreography as well as modesty garment and barrier use. Workshop fees to be negotiated.
